![]() MS Todo lacks a saved filters feature (for example I have a 'Personal' filter in Todoist which queries across several context tags). Use MS Todo instead of Todoist, use it's 'Today' function, and stop planning my day in Obsidian The quick-capture functionality on desktop and phone is indispensable, as are many other features. Todoist just does tasks better, in my opinion. Task management with the Tasks plugin does not compare to Todoist. Solutions I have considered: Use Obsidian for GTD as well, and ditch Todoist So now, what, I've got to go back and put it into Todoist for completeness? It's important to me that actions lists in GTD are as complete as possible in order to remain trusted. However, sometimes I have actions I would like to take which I hadn't already thought of. Obsidian is (sort of) actionable: I plan my day in my Obsidian daily note, which sometimes means taking tasks from my Todoist and copying them out (this is ok but not ideal). This has created a fairly neat split between the actionable and non-actionable stuff in my life, with a workflow for each. Todoist shortcuts and Readwise are my tools for quick capture. This caused me to pick up and start using Obsidian, in the typical ways many here will. My route to finding PKM was through GTD, for which I built (and still use) Todoist. Up-front, I hope this isn't too task-management-focused rather than strict PKM-focused.
